I am posting this notice to make crew aware of some shady characters filming here in LA, Burbank, Hollywood area. The placebo company name is Lake Shore Productions out of Yorkville, Illinois owned by the producer and ONLY employee "LF".
They are filming a scripted "reality show" in where they fake dramatic situations, poorly, to build up their ghetto show.
I was hired as their DP and editor. After working for them they refused to pay for over half of my costs.
Then they asked me to film another music video for "BJ" and he offered to perform in my television show in exchange for me directing his music video.
After I finished filming he cancelled on me for no reason and refused to pay me for my 14 hours of work. but offered $200 (I refused the insult) basically $12 an hour to film 4K.
Watch out people.
His husband, AG, is also a freaking train wreck and I heard from another camera man he caught them snorting something during takes.
Now they owe me over $3,500 and won't pay.
Save yourself the headache of a small claims case against someone that has LITERALLY NOTHING. Can't pay their bills, can't even fix their broken down car.
Nothing to offer society except to be another thief to steal from us hard workers.
Anyone else have this experience I will pay to interview you.
